Bekasi (voa-Islam. com) – The polemic about "tiga mojang" statue at Harapan Indah Bekasi area, will be ended soon. Bekasi Mayor, Mochtar Mohammad commanded developers to demolish it. Otherwise, city government of Bekasi would force for demolition.
It was explained by Mochtar in front of many Islamic mass organizations, such as, the Indonesian Council of Islamic Propagation (DDII) of Bekasi, Forum of Islamic Community (FUI) of Bekasi, The Youth Islamic Movement (GPI)of Bekasi, Islamic People Guard (GAMIS), etc. Its Meeting was held at monday morning, may 17. It also attended by The chairman of country judiciary, The chief of Bekasi District Military Command, The chief of Bekasi District Police office, The head of court of Bekasi and vice chairman of DPRD of Bekasi.
“Today we release a letter for its demolition, ” Mochtar said.
The Mayor would gave 3 demolition mandates to its developers. Its deadlines were 7 days. If during three weeks, they doesn't run any demolitions, so The Mayor will take over its plan.
“ If after 7 seven days, they do nothing on its statue, we will take step to take over its demolition. So local government will do it by them self. They will break it or we will handle it ” Mochtar confirmed.
Before ended that 70 minutes meeting, The Mayor of Bekasi, Mochtar Mohamad signed its statue demolition letter of agreement. The letter was on the number of 300/1118-set/v/2010, and it was directed to the developer of Harapan Indah, PT. Hasana Damai Putra, which was commanding to demolish "Tiga Mojang" statue at the latest on a week.
“We asked you to demolish "Tiga Mojang" Statue at the latest on seven days. If during that deadline you still not yet carried it out, we shall act appropriately as the rules of law, ” The Mayor Commanded in that letter.
Its statue demolition command was based on society denial. They felt afraid that it could bring bad impact for their securities situation and social connection.
The meeting at Mayor office of Bekasi was held to responding thousand moslem protest on friday, may 14. After held the protest, the mass went to "tiga mojang" monument. They did Ashar pray, then some of them climbed its statue and covered its face with cloth.
They run the protest because it was opposed against culture of Bekasi which were patriotic and religious one.
Chairman of DDII Bekasi, KH. Salimin Dani explained, its statue soared high and displayed three breast bareness girls. They stood and posed throw out their breasts. What a defiant pose.
KH Sulaiman Zachawerus, the leader of GAMIS added if the developers had no letter of permission in building the statue. it meant that they has breaking regional government and development environment rules at Bekasi. "for me, it is not suitable for calling that monument as " tiga mojang (three young girls)", it would be better if it is named as " three devils". he teased.
In responding that promise , The Islam Defenders Front (FPI) of Bekasi Murhali Barda would on struggle. He would observe that Mayor promise until that its statue was genuinely demolished. He reminded Islam activists not to fully believe on that letter.
" We declared to all Islamic activists not to fully believe only on a piece of letter. we still have long struggle and its statue will not become the only one" He confirmed [taz/adrian]
